I have a few words or phrases that drive me up and over the damn wall. And, there's one that is For some reason, "100 percent" has caught like wild fire and EVERYONE uses it, even my beloved New York housewives use it.
It's EVERYWHERE!
My friends all over the country are saying it.
Maybe it's the fact that certain people use it to add extra emphasis at unnecessary times but it drives me nuts. It's like nails against a chalk board. Do you hear the screeching?
I'm also not a fan of see-you-next-tuesday or the stupid word that people refer to as a cat either.
Bah! I'm cringing over here just thinking about saying those words.
Deep thoughts from Allison.
In other news, it's Friday!

is it organic? i sincerely hate when people refer to things other than food as organic. i think they are trying way too hard to sound smart.
"the whole process was so organic" shut up, asshole!
or, aback. no one really says this. so stop trying to!
Words that make me cringe:
Moist: icky
Download: (when used in any context that is not computer related. You don't download people)
Irregardless: the correct word is regardless. Irregardless only got put in the dictionary because so many ppl use it incorrectly.
I personally hate "inappropriate." Probably because my parents used it so much. "Lauren, that behavior is highly inappropriate." ARGH!
I, too, am tired of "inappropriate," as Lauren mentioned. Also? "Random." SO MANY THINGS ARE NOT ACTUALLY RANDOM AT ALL.
I hate the word panties...I don't know why but I do. Why can't people just say undies or underwear.
